Wells Fargo approved a grant which provides $10,000 to start a program for low income access to the Magic City Discovery Center. Interim Executive Director, Wendy Keller, stated "we want the Magic City Discovery Center to be accessible by all families regardless of economic status. We are excited that Wells Fargo helped to establish a fund that will ensure that."
The Bakken Chapter of API made a donation of $5,000 to the Magic City Discovery Center. These funds will help build the permanent discovery center on north hill that will serve the entire state of North Dakota. This new addition will be a great quality of life enhancement for Minot and the surrounding region since there are currently no children's museums in the Williston Basin.
