Birthday Party Package

Members: $200

Non-Members: $250

Package Includes:

Exclusive use of one birthday party room for 2 hours. Party times are 11am and 2pm. There are 2 rooms so 2 birthday parties will be going on concurrently.

The birthday child will be given a t-shirt and each child attending the party will receive a Discovery Goodie Bag.

Access to all exhibits.

A birthday photo backdrop is available to capture special moments.

Tablecloths will be provided upon request. You are welcome to bring specialty paper plates, napkins, and cups. To keep the center safe and tidy, we do not allow balloons, confetti, piñatas, or taping/fastening anything to the walls, windows, doors, or ceilings.

Package Options:

Pizza and beverages will be available to purchase when you complete the booking. Any changes must be communicated to the discovery center a minimum of 5 days before the party. You may bring cupcakes/birthday cake and ice cream. No other outside food is allowed.

Payments:

Payments will be required upon booking your party. Any changes made after booking must be paid the day of your party. In the event you need to cancel your party, the discovery center will make every attempt to reschedule it at a more convenient time.

Guidelines:

  • Birthday party bookings must be completed online.  (hyperlink to submittable form with payment option.) We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure the discovery center can accommodate your request.

  • Always stay together. Adult supervision is required at all times.

  • Be safe. Walking feet only.

  • Clean up, please leave all areas ready for others to enjoy.

  • NO FOOD, DRINK, OR GUM outside of the birthday party room.

  • No confetti, confetti-filled balloons, pinatas or silly string permitted.

  • An additional 20 minutes is allowed before and after party for set-up/tear-down. Any other adjustments must be approved by the discovery center prior to your party.

  • Children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • All birthday parties must have a 5 children to 1 adult minimum ratio.

  • Drop-off and pick-up are in the main lobby. If children are dropped off for the party, the Birthday Guide will accompany the children to the Community Room.

  • The contact person for the party is responsible for the children attending the party at all times, ensuring appropriate authorized parent/guardian pick-up in the lobby area.

  • Any guest arriving after your time in the party room has ended must pay admission.
