Venue Rentals

Renters have the option to bring their own food or hire a caterer of their choice for their event.

Alcohol is permitted only after museum hours and Renters must obtain an alcohol permit through Minot Parks & Recreation

• No smoking is permitted anywhere within the Magic City Discovery Center building

• Confetti, piñatas, glitter, and tape on the walls are not permitted

A Magic City Discovery Center employee will reach out with you to confirm details on your reservation. They will then send a contract that needs to be signed and returned to mcdcevents@magiccitydiscoverycenter.com. The event will be confirmed upon Magic City Discovery Center's receipt of the signed copy and Booking Deposit. Reservations may be canceled 5 or more business days prior to the event in order to guarantee the full Booking Deposit is refunded. Cancellations made less than 5 days from the scheduled event date shall be subject to management review and may not be refunded their Booking Deposit. In the event of inclement weather, the reservation will be rescheduled (if possible). If rescheduling is not possible, the Booking Deposit will be refunded within thirty calendar days.
