April is the Month of the Military Child. This month, we celebrate and honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifice of military families in our community and the children who grow up navigating a life full of transitions, challenges, and new adventures.

Military-connected kids experience a unique childhood. They adapt to new schools, make new friends, and show incredible courage through deployments and changes. Their strength doesn’t always make headlines, but it deserves to be celebrated.

At the Magic City Discovery Center, we are proud to support and celebrate these families by creating a space where kids can simply be kids by exploring, creating, and discovering in a place built just for them.

As a small thank you for all that military families give, we are offering FREE admission for all active-duty military personnel and their families (including National Guard and Reserve members) from Monday, April 6, to Saturday, April 11. We are also offering 10% off new and renewing military memberships, valid April 5 – 11, using code MILMO online or in person. Discovery Center membership allows families to return again and again, which creates consistency, connection, and a sense of belonging in a world that feels like it's always changing.
