At the Magic City Discovery Center, our members are the heart of everything we do. You are the scientists, artists, and explorers who bring our 12 galleries to life every single day. To say "thank you" for being part of our museum family, we are turning the dial up on discovery all month long!


Whether you’ve been a member since our doors first opened or you just joined the crew, May is all about YOU.


Here is what’s happening this month:

  • Bring a Buddy: (Add a Guest for Free) Everything is more fun with a friend! For the entire month of May, every membership includes one free guest per day. It’s the perfect opportunity to show your best friend, cousin, or neighbor your favorite exhibit (Limit one extra guest per day, per membership).

  • Members-Only Day: Tuesday, May 26th Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, May 26th from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, we are closing our doors to the general public and opening them exclusively for our members. Enjoy the Center at your own pace, explore every exhibit, and celebrate with your fellow discovery-seekers in a private setting.

  • Exclusive Member Pins: Wear your MCDC pride! We’ve created special limited-edition pins just for our members. Make sure to stop by the front desk and grab yours this month while supplies last.
